HK-Buddy, a HKBU undergraduate group, participated and won the Gold Prize and the best project video (2nd place) in the annual biomolecular design competition for students-Biomod 2016 held in the University of California, San Francisco on 26-28 October 2016.

The Sixth Sino-American Symposium on Clinical and Translational Medicine (SAS-CTM) jointly organized by the Scientific Committee of SAS-CTM and China International Medical Foundation was held in Hangzhou, China, at June 20-21, 2015. Liang Chao’s excellent research paper on translational medicine in bone and joint diseases won "Clinical and Translational Medicine Best Thesis Awards" at the Symposium.
