The SCM and IBTS invited Prof. Tomoko Yamamoto, the Professor from Chiba University, to deliver a lecture titled with ‘Bacterial Nanomachines: The Flagellum and Injectisome as Infection Strategies’.

Prof. Tomoko Yamamoto, the recipientof the Asakawa Award of Japanese Society for Bacteriology, and the Professor and Vice-dean of Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chiba University, was invited by Dr. Zhijun Yang to deliver a lecture about the application of bacterial as a new kind drug delivery system, the presentation titled ‘Bacterial Nanomachines: The Flagellum and Injectisome as InfectionStrategies’ introduced the excellent research work of her laboratory enlightened a new approach way of drug delivery system. After that, Prof. Tomoko Yamamoto and Dr. Zhijun Yang had discussed the cooperation for the application of the flagelia and the injectisomes as drug delivery systems improving existing therapies for cancer.
