The Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Branch of State Key Laboratory of Chemo / Biosensing and Chemometrics of Hunan University was established last October for complementing HKBU and Hunan University’s strengths and sharing resources in molecular sciences, biomedical and translational science research.

On October 25, Prof. Weihong Tan (Ph.D.), the director of the State Key Laboratory of Chemo / Biosensing and Chemometrics of Hunan University and the distinguished professor of the University Florida, USA, was invited by the IBTS to take part in the symposium on aptamer research. Prof. WeihongTan, Prof. Aiping Lu (Dean of SCM and Director of IBTS) and Prof. Ge Zhang(Deputy Director of IBTS) will seek to establish further cooperation between Hunan University and HKBU in further collaboration.

Prof. Tan Weihong
