The Institute of Integrated Bioinformedicine and Translational Science (http://IBTS.hkbu.edu.hk/) in Hong Kong Baptist University presently offers BSc, MSc, MPhil, and PhD Programmes, now seeks outstanding applicants for ‘Postdoctoral Research Fellow’ or ‘Research Assistant Professor’ pose with professional knowledge in Bioinformatics or System Biology or Drug Design or Computational Biology or related area. The appointees will work within an established group of faculty in the school. They are also expected to perform group-based high-impact research and to undertake some teaching duties.  

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Bioinformatics or System Biology or Drug Design or Computational Biology or a related discipline, and must possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Qualifications include postdoctoral or professional experience, a strong record of publication, teaching experience, and potential for funding.

Post: Bioinformatics or System Biology or Drug Design or Computational Biology (e.g. Omics; computational pharmacology and drug discovery; big data analytics; computational platform and databases; developing or use of novel computational approaches addressing core problems in school strategic areas). Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two to three years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
