Research Assistant Professor Dr. Guo Baosheng and Ph.D students Mr. Liu Jin and Mr. Liang Chao were invited to participate the 2015 Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) annual meeting and make oral/poster presentation about their outstanding works in Las Vegas at March 28-31.

Dr. Guo Baosheng and Mr. Liang Chao, as New Investigator Recognition Awards (NIRA) finalists, introduced their work entitled “Therapeutic inhibition of miR-214 by (AspSerSer)₆-liposome encapsulating antagomir-214 in osteoblast cells for promoting bone formation in aged osteoporotic rats” and “Aptamer-functionalized delivery system for osteogenic siRNAs to achieve osteoblast-specific RNA interference for bone anabolic therapy”, respectively. Mr. Liu Jin orally introduced his excellent work entitled “Increased CKIP-1 expression and decreased phosphorylated Smad1/5 within osteoblasts during bone formation reduction in glucocorticoid-induced osteoporotic rats” in Bone Disease Section. Mr. Liang Chao also won Webster Jee Young Investigator Award at the ICMRS-ORS membership meeting.
